You sometimes don't have a network connection and wonder why? Actually, you're out and about in one place or just at home or at work where you usually have a network. But somehow you have the feeling that something is not working? Maybe slow internet? Difficulties with telephony? Messages that can't be sent? Here we show you the first aid tips on what you can do.

First aid for network faults

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  1. Restarting the device: Restart your device by switching it off and on again. Your SIM card will then dial into the mobile network again. This usually solves the problem - and you can make calls, send text messages and surf the internet again without any problems.
  2. Manual network selection: Under certain circumstances, manual network selection can also help. You can do this in the settings of your device. Please select "o2 - de+" as the network. After a successful login, you can reset the settings to automatic network selection. If you need assistance with this, please use our O2 mobile phone help.   3. Test the SIM card in another device: To rule out a network fault, please insert the SIM card in another device. If the problem no longer exists there, the fault could be due to a defect in your device. Help with mobile phone defect.
  4. No success? Have you carried out all the above tips and still have network restrictions? Then you can report a network problem using the "I don't agree" button in the live check.
