Benutzerebene 7

As with all complex technical things, it can happen from time to time that something does not run one hundred percent smoothly. Unforeseen problems can occur from time to time. Here we explain what the Live Check results mean for you.

Here are some information that you should try first when you notice a problem with your network or anything else:

If you want to use the Live-Check afterwards and you don’t know how: Here you will find all information:

The Live Check status messages at a glance

The messages in green:

There is no known fault

There is no known fault at the address entered. Here we show you possible reasons why you may still have restrictions.

  • Short-term overloads: Short-term service restrictions are not displayed in the Live Check. For example, during a football match, concert or other large event.
  • Thunderstorms: Radio connections are sometimes affected by heavy rain and thunderstorms.
Even if the storm is not directly at your location, surrounding mobile phone masts or radio relay stations may still be affected. This can affect your network reception.
  • Network fault not yet deposited: If a new network fault is detected, it takes about 30 minutes until the corresponding message is displayed in the Live Check.

The messages in yellow:

A base station in the vicinity reports restrictions

A base station reports restrictions at the address entered. We are already aware of these due to our permanent network monitoring. Here we show you possible reasons and what you can do.

  • Known limitations: A yellow display may be due to failures of complex, central systems. External interference factors over which we have no control, e.g. a construction crane, can also temporarily impair the radio connection.
  • Defect in a base station: Another possibility is a defect in a base station in your area. For example, if a component no longer functions and needs to be replaced.
  • Fault report not necessary: In this case, we do not need a fault report from you. The restriction at this location is already known and we are working on a solution.

The messages in red:

A base station in the vicinity does not work properly

  • Fault clearance in progress: With this result, a network fault for your location is known to us and the colleagues from network technology are already taking care of the rectification.
  • Info SMS: In the Live Check you have the option of subscribing to a fault clearance info, then you will be kept up to date by SMS.
